Why the two animal species have different adaptations?
Two animal species are able to have similar adaptations to themselves for example bird adapting and having a longer beak to be able to reach the inside of a long plant, however animals have different adaptations for many reasons including temperatures, predators and the environment that surrounds them.
Two animals will adapt differently depending on the struggles they face. Animals have a different predator that will hunt them for food and the animal will change itself to make it better suited to their environment. For example the echidna has spikes grown on its back to protects itself from other animals, an animals that lives mostly in the water would not do this as it does not protect their whole body only their back.
There are changing conditions and environments for animals and it is sometimes hard for animals to find food due to humans taking so much of their food source. As humans take so much food from the environment, other animals have had to adapt in order to survive. Some animals have adapted to this change and now carry more fat on their bodies compared to before for the periods of time that they are unable to find food. This is an adaptation to a situation that not all animals face.
There are different situations that animals encounter that cause an adaptation to be necessary for them to survive. Two animals species can have different adaptations due to the area they live in and the changing conditions of that specific environment. Each animal has different strengths and weaknesses in its own environment. The adaptations that animals create are to improve their hances of survival by improving their weaknesses.
